The setup

1) Players pair up or form a circle.
2) Decide on a starting player to initiate the scene.

How to play

1) The first player makes a statement to start a scene.
2) The next player responds with “Yes, and…” followed by an addition to the scene.
3) Continue the pattern, building the scene collaboratively.

How to win

This is a cooperative game; the goal is to create a cohesive and entertaining scene together.

Game variations

Introduce a theme or setting to guide the scene.
Limit responses to physical actions instead of verbal ones.
