The setup

1) Each player needs a die. A shared board with spaces numbered 1 to 20 can be drawn or printed.

2) One player is the “Tiger”, and the other is the “Goat”. Place a token for each on square 1.


 

How to play

1) Players take turns rolling their die and moving forward the number of spaces rolled.

2) If a player lands on the same square as the opponent, they win the round.

3) The Tiger wins if it catches the Goat within 10 turns. The Goat wins if it survives all 10 turns without being caught.


 

How to win

Tiger: Catch the Goat by landing on the same spot.
Goat: Avoid the Tiger for 10 full rounds.




Game variations
  • You can expand the board to 30 or more spaces for longer games.
  • Use two dice to add more unpredictability.
