The setup
1) Use a standard 52-card deck.
2) Deal 13 cards to each of 4 players.
How to play
1) The player with the 3 of Diamonds plays it to start the game.
2) On your turn, play one of the allowed combinations: a single card, a pair, a triple, or a 5-card poker hand.
3) Each new play must be higher than the last one of the same type, or you can pass.
4) If all players pass, the last person to play starts a new round with any combination.
5) You can pass on one turn and still play again later in the round.
How to win
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round.
Game variations
- Some versions include scoring after each round based on finishing order.
- Players may keep track of points across multiple rounds to declare an overall winner.
